Subpeonas and Depositions
When a provider of services is served with a subpoena for deposition, or for trial testimony, it is very important that that provider get consultation from an attorney as to whether or not the subpoena has been issued in compliance with Illinois and federal law. It is unusual for an attorney to comply with the strict technical requirements when issuing a subpoena to a mental health provider.
